Shipping & Delivery

How much is shipping cost?

Local area: Christchurch, Rollston, Linclon, Prebbleton - Local delivery cost $5.9 or free delivery on all order over $45.

Other regions? Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. There is a $6.90 flat rate delivery for all products or free delivery on all orders over $79. 

All product prices are displayed in $NZD unless stated otherwise and shipping is additional.

Can I ship to an overseas address?
We currently only deliver within New Zealand and do not ship internationally at this stage.

How long will my order take to arrive?


We aim to have standard delivery orders dispatched within 1-3 business days as and then once picked up our courier partners can take up to 7 business days to deliver. We will get in touch with customers if their order has had a significant delay.

Has my order been shipped yet?


Once your order has been dispatched from our site, you will be sent an email to confirm your order is on its way to you, including the tracking details.

Do you deliver to PO boxes?


As we use a courier service to deliver your order, we are only able to deliver to a physical address and not P.O. Boxes, Private Bags etc.

Can you ship pet cakes?


Sorry, we can't ship to other cities now. We are only available for local delivery at the moment. We are seeking the best method to allow us to ship to other cities. 

Click & Collect

How much am I charged for a Click & Collet order?

There is no additional charge for a click and collect order, you only pay for the products you order.

When can I collect it and how long do I have to collect my order?

We will send you a message or email to let you know once your order is ready for collection. Then we could

arrange the best date and time to suit your earliest convenience.

Return & refund policy

What is the return / refund policy?

For pet cakes and treats. Return & refund no available unless for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

For pet toys. 14-day Returns Guarantee from the date of purchase. If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase then please follow this procedure and we shall organise your prompt replacement or refund:

  • Contact us to let us know that you would like to return an item and arrange your Returns Option. Returns options include exchange or refund. Email lummypetbakery@gmail.com

  • Repack the item very well. It is our policy that only items that are in saleable condition will be accepted under our Returns Guarantee.

Please note that Cash On Delivery returns will not be accepted and that shipping costs will not be refunded.

As mentioned, the items must be in re-saleable condition for them to be accepted under our Returns Guarantee.

In accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 any goods that are faulty or not of good quality, the customer has the right to a repair, replacement or refund.

Returns / refund Options

The options available to our customers when they return a product are:

Exchange – If you find that a product that you’ve received is unsatisfactory then we will gladly exchange it for another item of the same purchased value. Proof of purchase is required but may be waived if we believe that we have sold the product.

Refund – Our 7-day Returns Guarantee refund on purchase means you can buy online with confidence. Refunds will be paid out in the same tender that was received. In order to receive a refund you must have a proof of purchase.
